Passed peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital on Saturday October 8, 2022 in her 86th year. Joan, loving wife to Gord, will be sadly missed by her daughter Terry (Mike) Desroches and her son Richard. Joan is predeceased by her brothers Lawrence, Doug, and Frank. Joan had a special love of animals, especially dogs. Family will receive friends at Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551 on Thursday October 13, 2022 from 4 – 6 p.m. and on Friday October 14, 2022 from 10 – 11 am. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Midland OSPCA, Alzheimer’s Society, or Royal Victoria Hospital and would be appreciated by the family.
