Obituary
It is with great sadness that his family remembers the loss of our husband, dad & papa who passed away on November 23rd, 2020.
Robert Bryce lived an extraordinary life. He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on Feb. 2, 1929 to Robert William & Grace Bryce, the second of 5 children. He remembered seeing a sortie of Spitfires rush across the skies, before being evacuated to Canada with 3 of his siblings as “guest children” during WWII. He returned to Edinburgh in 1945, worked briefly for North British Steel Foundry, and then came back to Manitoba. In 1969, he met & married Connie Law and together they raised a family of 3. He was part of his community, as a volunteer, a neighbor & friend, and a member of various associations over the years.
Bob was proud of his heritage, proud of his wife & family, and of his mixed farm. Even at 91, he was able to live at home, still enjoying life and his pets.
He was pre-deceased by his parents, older sister Myra, sister-in-law May, and his parents-in-law Sam & Clara Law. After Robert’s passing his brother-in-law George has also passed away. He is survived by his wife, Connie, children Robert, Andrew (Ivy), and Cathy and her children Aiden, Caber, and Siri, his brothers Douglas (Nan), Ron, Derek (Kathy) and their families as well as numerous cousins.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Robert Bob Bryce February 2 1929 November 23 2020 (age 91)..
