Surrounded by her family, Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Grey Gables Nursing Home, Markdale in her 86th year. Beloved wife of 62 years to Jack. Loving mother of Tim(Deanna) of Durham and Todd(Tammi) of Chatsworth. Cherished grandmother of Jillian(Steve), Zoey, Stephanie(Dave), Natalie, Bradley(Jessica), McKenzie, Jaime and great grandmother of Aurora, Cameron, Celina, Karlee, Cameron and Wrenley. Predeceased by her siblings Violet Bowles, Hilliard Fitzsimmons, Ralph Fitzsimmons, Nelson Fitzsimmons and John Fitzsimmons.
A tremendous Thank-You to Dr. Power for the many years of incredible care and also to the amazing staff at Grey Gables.
The family will receive friends at Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception, Flesherton on Friday, October 14 from 1:00-3:00pm. Cremation has taken place, interment at Markdale Cemetery will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Diabetes Association, Centre Grey Health Services Foundation or Grey Gables Activity Fund would be greatly appreciated.
