Elizabeth (Betty) Anne Wilson
Passed away peacefully at age 94 on September 17, 2022 in Penn Yan, NY. She was predeceased by her first husband Donald Leland Wilson, her second husband George Phillip Wolcott, parents Albert and Josephine Toush Palizay, sister Eleanor Andrus and brothers Jack, Robert and Richard Palizay.
She is survived by her daughter Janice (Richard) Snyder, sons Craig (Peg) Wilson and Donald (Karen) Wilson; grandchildren Allison Snyder Kingsley, Christine Wilson Ruger, Jacqueline Wilson Pound, Elizabeth “Libby” Snyder Day and Timothy Wilson; great grandchildren Emma and Ellie Ruger, Jack, Colton and Case Day and Arthur Wilson: several nieces, nephews, and a host of caring friends.
Betty was born in Elmira, NY on March 10, 1928 and married Donald Wilson in 1948. Together they founded, owned and operated Wilson Store Equipment in Elmira. They enjoyed retirement in Bradenton, FL and Keuka Lake, NY.
A private internment will be held on Monday, September 26, at Maple Grove Cemetary in Horseheads, NY. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 9, at 2 PM at the Lynch Funeral Home in Horseheads, NY. Reception following. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation in Betty’s name may be made to:
