It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Judy on September 29 th , 2022, at the age of 71 in the Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Building, surrounded by her family. Judy was born and raised in Eastern Passage by her late parents Harold and Myrtle (York) Slaunwhite. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Ron, son Robert (Charlotte) Mount Uniacke, daughter Tracey (Fernand) Port Williams, sister Pat (Tom) Eastern Passage and brother Wayne (Gail) Stewiacke. She was predeceased by her sister Faye and brother Daryl.
As per Judy’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service. In further keeping with her wishes, Judy will eventually be taken to a beautiful beach in the Caribbean where she loved to travel.
We would like to thank the staff of V3 West for the kind, compassionate care they provided Judy. Your kindness and support will not be forgotten.
Donations in Judy’s memory may be made to the Nova Scotia SPCA or Bide Awhile Animal Shelter, two charities she avidly supported.

  1. Ron, We we’re saddened to hear of Judy s passing from you yesterday. We remember fondly our stay in St Marten where we met .When we returned to Bedford we only then became aware we were down the street neighbours. Not only that our best man and maid of honour have the same name as both of you. It was always a delight to almost weekly run into each other. We wish you and your kids peace and courage. God bless , Willy & Sharon Poirier…
