Obituary
Born in Penticton, BC, Addie moved to Canoe, BC as a young girl and completed all her schooling in Salmon Arm. Training in Kamloops, she became a Registered Nurse and her accomplishments in nursing were many, including Director of Nursing at SLGH followed by work in Emergency, Chemotherapy and Day Care. She loved her community and was active as a Rotarian, a board member of the SLGH Foundation and President of the local Cancer Society. She was predeceased by the love of her life Dr. Ralph Williams in 2000. She is survived by her daughter Theresa (Kane) Markowski, grandchildren Trevor (Danyelle) Rutledge, Tori (Jason) Vistica and four great-grandchildren. Most of all, the words that describe her are: kind, loving, funny, generous, compassionate, strong, courageous and determined. She will be missed by so many.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the SLGH Foundation.
A Come and Go Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 2 – 4 p.m. at Bowers Funeral Service Mountainside Room, 440 – 10th St. SW, Salmon Arm, BC. It will be a time to share memories, tell stories and visit together.
