With overwhelming sadness, we announce after a courageous battle with illness, the passing of Kelly.
Dearest wife of Trevor and loving mother of Savannah Heydon. Daughter of Linda Hibbert (Ian) and Paul Popov. Much loved daughter in law of Rick Heydon (Rose). Predeceased by mother in law Paula Heydon. Adored granddaughter of Murry and Ila Johnson and Alexander and Vera Popov (deceased).
Kelly lived, laughed and loved life to the fullest, but there was no greater love than that of her daughter Savannah. Even throughout her sickness, the sight of Savannah would put the biggest smile on her face. Kelly was in the service industry for most of her working career. She loved to be around people and was an avid people watcher wherever she went. Kelly was blessed to work with many great people over the years and finally found her forever home at Twisted Apron. Kelly was also a member of Unifor 444, and met many great people and formed solid friendships through her short career.
The family would also like that thank Sylvia, Betty, Katie, Dino, Chad, Amy, Dave and Melanie, Jason and Mariana, Connie, Kristin, Cristina and many other friends for your outpouring of love and support.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated. Hospice has cared for many of Kelly’s loved ones over the years, and it held a special place in her heart.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Kelly’s life will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at Families First, 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor, (519) 969-5841.
