God called Maria Augusta Sousa peacefully on September 27, 2022 at the age of 96. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband Manuel. Cherished by her dear children, Maria (Manuel), Virginia (Antonio) and Manny (Ivone). Proud Avó to Nancy (Stefano), Diane (George), Jennifer, Milton (Tina), Jonathan (Mary) and Denise (Roman). Adoring Bisavó to Branden (Sarena), Matthew (Cynthia), Tiago (Mia), Philip, Andrew, Aiden, Brooklyn, Rui, Cyrus and Christina. She will always be deeply missed by her Goddaughter Delminda (Manuel). She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. If so desired, donations in memory of Maria Augusta may be made to either the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Alzheimer’s Society.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home “Toronto Chapel” (2080 Dufferin St. 416-656-3332) on Monday October 3, 2022 from 4-9 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday October 4, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church (15 Grace Street). Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery.
