It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jim on Sunday, September 25th, 2022 at the age of 81. Jim was predeceased by his parents Eric and Kathleen, also his brother Harry, he is also predeceased by his Aunt and Uncle Linda and Bruno Wendler, who raised Jim. He leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years, Ruth (Vold). He was loving father of Troy Brode (Teri) predeceased, and daughter Lesley Brode. Loving grandfather of Kelsey Hamilton (Mathew), Mathew Brode, Warren Walsh, and Jessica Walsh. Great grandfather of Kendall Breault. Brother-in-law of Beatrice (Vold) and Roger Briscoe, Debbie (Vold) and Doug Horne. Uncle of many nephews and a niece. Jim will also be missed by his extended family: Doris Deagle, Jim Wendler (Marion), Joyce Perry, and Judy Roye. Special thank you to Dr. deBlacam, Dr. Masters, Dr. Emack, Dr. Thangaroopan, and dietician Chloe Rouleau, the Bayshore nurses, and a special thank you to Pastor Kevin Serviss. Memorial Service to take place in First Baptist Church, 2603 Falconbridge Hwy, Garson, on Saturday, October 15th, 2022 at 1pm.
