Brent Allan Scott
1964-2022
Brent A. Scott passed away January 19, 2022 at his home in McAdam, NB,
surrounded by his family, after a short and courageous battle with
cancer. He was born on May 17, 1964, a son of June Cloney (Whynot) and
the late Gerald Scott.
Brent is survived by his loving wife, Jeannie (McIver); three
children, Matthew (Ashley), Hailey (Jordy) and Holly (Justin). He was
the best “Papa Brent” to his three grandchildren, Lauren
Jane, Ellie and Cooper. He is also survived by his mother, June; and
siblings Danny (Marcia), Barbara, Bruce (Cathy), Blaine (Sheryl) and
Beverly (Steve); sister-in-law Joyce (Don); several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his step-father, Fred
Cloney, sister-in-law Bev Scott; brother-in law Glendon Short.
More than anything, Brent was a loving husband, father, and papa.
Nothing gave him more joy than spending time with his family and going
on adventures with his grandchildren.
He spent most of his career working in McAdam and the past 10 years at
Costco in Fredericton. Brent took great pride in his work at Costco
and really loved his colleagues who quickly became part of his
extended family.
Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, a service will be held at a
later date.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Brent, the family
has suggested Pancreatic Cancer Canada.
