Barna Meszaros, died at Centennial Place in Millbrook on Saturday Sept. 24, 2022. Born in Hungary in 1927, immigrated to Canada in 1957 and settled in Oshawa. Married to his wife Elizabeth for 73 years and surviving children Ted (Beth), John and Elizabeth. Predeceased by son Deszo. They have 3 Grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren. In 1971 the family moved to rural Newcastle. Where he enjoyed gardening, particularly growing peppers. Barna was a master at tinkering and seemed to be able to fix or make something out of what others would have thrown away. A private family service will take place, cremation to follow with interment at Orono Cemetery. If so desired memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
