Obituary
With broken hearts we announce the passing of Sheldon Stewart Allen Goodheart on Thursday Sept 1, 2022 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital, Red Deer, AB. At the age of 38 years old there are simply no words to express this loss. Sheldon will always be remembered by his wife of 14 years Breanne; daughter Brayln (12); son Myles (10), In-law’s Darwin and Michele Whitfield, Brother in law Lindsay (Candice) Whitfield nephews Easton and Cannon; Mother Susan and Keith Usselman. And the many extended family members.
Sheldon was born in Saskatoon October 21, 1983 where he attended School. Sheldon met the love of his life Breanne in 2004 and from the day they met they’ve been inseparable. On February 23, 2005 Sheldon received his Red Seal Journeyman Electrician Certificate. Then in 2006 Sheldon and Breanne began their adventure moving to Slave Lake, AB where he worked as an Electrician and started Goodheart Electric. July 26, 2008 Sheldon and Breanne were married and moved to Kindersley, SK where they started to establish Goodheart Electric and G&G Developments. Sheldon and Breanne welcomed their daughter Brayln on March 3, 2010 and then their son Myles on December 23, 2011. Sheldon always loved having the kids involved with his projects bringing them to work whenever it was possible and helping with school projects. His dream was to create a Family Business that would give his kids an opportunity to work alongside him as teenagers and adults. Sheldon always had ideas or visions for his next adventure and wasn’t afraid to put in the hours to make his and Breanne’s dreams come true. He may have been classified as a workaholic but he had a true Entrepreneur heart and he loved his job. He wanted to create a life full of opportunities for his family. In 2018 Sheldon rounded off his education and received his Red Seal Journeyman Plumbers Certificate and Commercial Gas Fitter Certificate to further his capabilities as a Home Builder and Project Manager. In 2019 Sheldon and Breanne sold their operations in Kindersley, SK and made the decision to move to Olds, AB. This is where they have resided to this day and found their home within the community.
All are welcome to celebrate Sheldon’s Life and pay Tribute on Friday September 30th, 2022 at 10:30am at Olds United Church (4810 50 St, Olds, AB) Lunch to follow at the Legion Hall in Olds (5241 46 St, Olds, AB)
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to Sheldon’s children for their future education by emailing GoodheartFamilyDonations@gmail.com
