Obituary of Nancy Pizzuti
PIZZUTI, Nancy (nee Wruble)
It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Nancy, a loving Wife, Mother and Grandma, on January 16, 2022 at the age of 75. Beloved wife and best friend to Vince Pizzuti, with whom she celebrated 54 years of blessed marriage. Loving and devoted mother to Sandra Cook and husband Jamie of Oakville, Anna Mijovcic and husband Bob of Tecumseh. Cherished and proud grandma to Bianca, Carson, Adrianna and Abigail. Predeceased by parents Stanley and Evelyn Wruble and brothers, Lavern and Richard Wruble. Dear sister to Eric Wruble, and Carol Rogers. Dear sister in-law to late John Pizzuti and surviving wife Tina, Mike Pizzuti and wife Bianca, Tony Pizzuti and wife Maria, late Teresa Paossi; all of Windsor, and Delia Paossi and husband Arcangelo of Italy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Nancy retired as a manager with Scholars Choice and in her retirement years she was a dedicated volunteer at the former WRH, Western Campus. She loved spending time with her family and friends, planning parties, playing cards, baking and knitting. A heartfelt thank you to our neighbours in Woodview Estates in Es for their continuous and generous support provided to our family throughout the years. A sincere thank you to the nurses and staff at WRH, Met. Campus (5 North and 7 North) for your compassionate care provided to Nancy and her family during this difficult time. Friends will be received at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519) 253-7234 on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 3:00-5:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. A Funeral Mass wiill be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 11:00am at Ste. Anne Church, Tecumseh (12233 Tecumseh Rd. E. at Lesperance Rd.) Cremation to follow. Masks and reservations are required to attend the visitation and Funeral Mass. Please call Windsor Chapel at (519) 253-7234 between the hours of 8:30am – 4:00pm to secure your reservation. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Nancy, memorial donations may be made to The Windsor Es County Cancer Centre Foundation or to Transition to Betterness.
