Conchita Cartagena (Connie) Limbaugh – age 72 of Knoxville was born in Bago Aplaya, Davao City, Philippines on April 3, 1950 and passed away Monday, September 19, 2022. She was a staple in the Knoxville community and well known for her famous Philippine restaurant, Philippine Connection as it was successfully ran for 30+ years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, soon to be great-grandmother, Christian, entrepreneur, avid fishermen and woman of great integrity and work ethic. She was also a member of the Philippine Association of East Tennessee. In her free time, you could find her with her family or at her second home in North Myrtle Beach, SC fishing with her extended family at The Cherry Grove Pier.
Survived by husband, Gerald Limbaugh; daughter, Dyan Broyles; sons, Johnny (Flora) Hackney and David L. (Nikki) Buckner; step-daughter, Paige (Chuck) Leslie; step-son, Wayne Limbaugh; grandchildren, Matthew (Shelby) Hensley, Tessa Buckner, Stone Buckner, Ridge Buckner, Tristan Hackney, and Gavin Hackney; several other grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a long list of other family and friends who she dearly loved.
