ROBILLARD, Sharon Florence (July 25, 1958 – September 16, 2022) –
Ron and the Robillard family sadly announce the sudden passing of their much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and loved friend to many in Delhi area, Sharon Florence (Walker) Robillard, on September 16th, 2022, at the age of 64. Sharon was a popular, well-liked and well-known person in Delhi. For years she was laughing, learning, teaching and developing skills and offering knowledge as a Girl Guide Leader in Delhi. Sharon was as smiling, friendly dedicated employee at the (Your Independent Grocer) Store in Delhi for the last 27 years where she made many friends. She loved the people of Delhi and they loved her back. Sharon was a wonderful wife of almost 44 years of Ron Robillard, Delhi and wonderful mother and mother-in-law of a son Richard and his wife Angela Robillard and their children: Gracie, Avaleigh all of Branford; and a daughter Robyn and her husband James Leegstra and their children: Aiden, Brock, Ziva, Wesley and Emily all of South River, Ontario. Survived by two brothers: Allan (Linda) Walker, Simcoe and William (Cathy) Walker, New Liskeard and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Sharon’s excellent baking of family favourite tarts, pies and cakes were legendary and will be missed by all who knew her. Sharon’s family were proud that Sharon asked to be a Trillium Gift of Life Donor to help others. Several lifesaving organ donations were received by needy recipients.
Cremation has taken place. Friends, relatives, and neighbours are welcomed to share special memories, favourite photos, or contribute memorial donations to the “Diabetes Canada” or the “McMaster Children’s Hospital Foundation” via Sharon’s online tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com or by contacting the Maurice J.
