Jan John Eindhoven 2022

With great sadness, we announce the passing of John Eindhoven on September 13th, 2022. The family are grateful to the Doctors and nurses who looked after John throughout his illness. We especially want to thank the exceptional staff in every Department at Extendicare Cobourg, for their kindness, patience and skilled care of John in his final days. Born in Hoorn, The Netherlands, February 20th, 1928, John came to Canada in 1955, and became a proud Canadian citizen May 19th, 1961. He enjoyed a long and satisfying career as Marketing Manager in Industrial Installations and retired as President of Aldershot Industrial Installations. He was one of the Founders and Past Commodores of the Burlington Sailing and Boating Club. John passed away peacefully after a long and fulfilling life in Canada. He lived life to the fullest, always planning the next adventure. His greatest pleasure was exploring the beautiful places in Canada and the USA with family and friends. He travelled by land, in trailer or motor home, and by water, in numerous sailboats and motorboats. He also enjoyed skiing on many beautiful mountains. John is held in loving memory in the hearts of his wife Margaret and his children, Ronald and daughter-in-law Sue, Peter and the late daughter-in-law Lori, and daughter Sharon and son-in-law Jack. Dear Papa John to grand-daughter Kaylea and husband Agustin, grandson Evan and his wife Valerie, and grand-daughter Jackie. Following John’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no Funeral service, or Celebration of Life, as John celebrated his life every day with the love of his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, in memory of your friendship with John, please consider a Memorial Donation to Doctors Without Borders.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Jan John
