Doreen Keough
1930-2022
Keough, Doreen
Passed away peacefully at Freeport Grand River Hospital,
Kitchener on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at the age of 92 years.
Beloved wife of the late William Keough (2021). Proud mother of Leona
Thomas (Grant) and Lorinne Keough (Joe). Cherished Grandma of Kerrin
(William), Caroline (Ryan), Cecelia (Riley), Kimberly (Brendan) and
Coral. Great grandma of William. Dear sister of Beryl Gold (Roy).
Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, sister and brother in-laws,
dear friends and all who knew her for her kindness and humour. Doreen
traveled with her families from childhood (as her father was in the
Airforce), through adulthood as an army wife and for pleasure. She
held several occupations including retail and payroll using
Canada’s first computers. She also volunteered for over 20
years at St. Joseph’s Health Centre. We thank the amazing
staff at Freeport for their dedication and compassion while caring for
Doreen. Visitation at GILCHRIST CHAPEL
