Obituary
Peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 78 on September 9, 2022. Manuel is survived by his loving wife Sinelandia of 51 years marriage.
Loving father of Ben Botelho and Gary Botelho (Heather). Loving grandfather to Jesse Botelho, William Botelho, Brittney Botelho, Dominic Botelho, Gabriel Botelho Xavier Botelho and Ava Botelho. Great grandfather to Amara Botelho. Predeceased by his parents Mauel Desa Botelho and Maria Neves Melo Arruda. Loving brother of Maria Jose (Manuel) Melo, Maria Neves (Benjamin) Rebelo, Maria Lourdes (Joao) Ponte. Brother in law to Manuel Sousa, Valdmina (Venerando) Ferriera, Urbino (Rosarinha) Sousa, and Edmundo (Maria dos Anjos) Aguiar). Special thanks to the staff at the Hamilton General Hospital ICU unit, for their loving and compassionate care they provided for our cherished father and grandfather. Also, thank to our family doctor, Dr. Agostino Moreno. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL on Friday September 16, 2022 from 4pm-8pm.
A Funeral Mass will take place at Annunciation Of Our Lord Church on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery .
Donations to the Fire Stone Clinic – St. Joseph’s Hospital, would be appreciated by the family.
