On Thursday, September 8, 2022, one day after her 88th birthday, my wife, my mom, my mamaw went to be with the Lord. She was saved as a little girl in a tent revival in Grainger County, Tn. in a sawdust pile at the center support of the tent. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Betsy Boatman; special sisters, Mae See and Hazel Boatman, including 11 other siblings. She is also preceded by her daughter Becky Collins. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 Years, Glen Wolfenbarger; daughter Cheryl (Hancock) Ponder; son and daughter in law, Glen (Buddy) Amber Wolfenbarger Jr.; five grandchildren, Todd (Mary) Powell, Chad (Nikki) Powell, Jessica (Jeffrey) Carpenter, John (Cadence) Collins and Zeke Wolfenbarger. She also has 9 great grandchildren and a whole host of family and friends, including her church family, especially her special sister in the Lord Jeanie Kitts. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 5:00- 7:30 PM, with Funeral services to follow at 7 :30 PM at Bridges Funeral Home. Rev. Charlie Reynolds and Rev. Glenn Kitts officiating. Interment will be on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Bookwalter UMC. Pallbearers: Todd Powell, Chad Powell, John Collins, Zeke Wolfenbarger, Noah Powell, Peyton Powell, Alex Carpenter and Buddy Wolfenbarger.
