Daniel James Letendre 1978 –

It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden death of Daniel James Letendre on Wednesday August 24, 2022. He is survived by his Mother, Bev Hunter, Father, Robbie Letendre, Step Father, Bob Hunter, older brother Mike (Laurissa and Lorelai) Letendre, younger brother Jeff (Kale, Maddy, Khali, Maliah) Letendre, younger sister Tenille Hunter, step sister, Azure-Dee Hunter, and step sister Alisha (Maddy, Ben) Hunter along with many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and so many amazing friends.
Dan was born May 1, 1978 in Kamloops, B.C. He came out ready to take life on an adventure. Always mischievous, Danny was always into something, whether it be putting his cat in the dryer or driving Mike and himself through the carport when he was 2, life was never boring. He went to School at Westsyde Elementary and then Westsyde High School where he excelled at Rugby and fastball. His passion was snowboarding and filming on the mountain with all of his awesome friends.
Dan’s favorite place was at the family cabin at Paul Lake. That is where his soul is at rest. He loved his mom, who was his rock in his life, and his nieces and nephew, Kale. He found peace in riding his bike and meditation. Behind his huge presence and his heartful smile, Dan’s quiet struggle with self worth caused him to battle with addictions for many years. Dan was a great man and touched the lives of so many people in his life. He lived life on the edge and pushed the limits. He will be dearly missed by anybody he had the opportunity to meet. Dan’s celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
We love you Danny. Rest in peace.
