Karen Dorothy Fritz(née Jeske)passed away peacefully at home on Sept 6, 2022, at 66 years of age, surrounded by her family. It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Karen is lovingly remembered by her husband Joe, her brother Martin, her children Carly Tanasichuk(Jason), Kevin(Heather), Andrea, Nadine Eeles(Isaac), Lance Fritz, Maggie Cardinal/Fritz, Cody Cardinal/Fritz, and grandchildren Kin, Hudson, Levon, Jillian, Otto, Luna, and Duke, her Mother-in-law, Lydia Fritz and her Sister and Brother-in-law Judy and Bradley Rode and their children Timo, Maddie, and Nico. She was predeceased by her parents, Helen and Benno Jeske, and her father-in-law, Herbert Fritz.
We are grateful for her life lived and her enduring legacy of servanthood, generosity, family matriarch, and above all…Christlike love.
We won’t say ‘Goodbye’, but ‘See you later’.
A Celebration of Karen’s Life will take place on Tuesday, Sept 13, 1:30pm at Central Baptist Church, 9419-95 St. NE, Edmonton, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Mustard Seed Edmonton in Karen’s name.
