STREICHER, Mary (Zehr)
Passed away peacefully at Nithview Community, New Hamburg, on the morning of August 18, 2022, to be with her Lord and Saviour. Mary was born 87 years ago on May 31, 1935, in Mornington Township, a daughter of the late Jonathan and Leah (Kuepfer) Zehr.
Beloved wife of Enoch Streicher. Cherished mother of Ruthann (Lorne), Samuel (Esther), Mervin (Lydiann), James (Marie), Norman (Catherine), Barbara (Ezra), David (Diane), Ralph (Christena), Alvin (Lena) and Mary Ellen (Ammon). Grandmother of 39 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren. Mary is survived by brother Samuel (Eva) Zehr, sister Rebecca (Solomon) Jantzi, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Esther Zehr, Ezra (Emmalene) Streicher, Catherine Streicher, Rebecca Streicher, Levi Streicher, Elizabeth Streicher and MarieAnn Jantzi (John Berberick), step sisters-in-law Sylvia and Elsie Streicher.
Predeceased by 3 great-grandchildren, brother Aaron Zehr, sisters Sarah (Rufus) Kuepfer and Barbara Streicher, Christena in infancy, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Reuben (Lena) Streicher, Jacob Streicher, Catherine Streicher and John Streicher,
Relatives and friends may call at the home of Ruthann and Lorne Kuepfer, 4785 Line 67, Milverton, on Friday, August 19 beginning at 1:00 p.m. until Sunday August 21 at 11:00 a.m. The Funeral service will take place at the home on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. officiated by Bishop James Ebersol with interment at the 7th Line Mornington Amish Mennonite Cemetery.
