Passed peacefully away at home in the presence of her loving family on Monday, September 5, 2022, Jessie Baker in her 89 year. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her sons, Harold Baker of St. John’s and Arthur Baker (Donna) of Grand Bank; daughter Maxine Loveys (Bruce) of Grand Bank; 4 grandchildren, Stephanie Sharpe (Donny) of CBS, Jessica Baker (Shane) of CBS, Dylan Rose of Grand Bank and Rebecca Rose (Kyle) of Grand Bank; 3 great grandchildren Reegan & Makynlee Sharpe, Lexi Brooks; sister-in-law Marjorie Baker; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. Jessie was predeceased by her husband Max Baker; parents Samuel and Janet Baker; and parents-in-law Arthur and Florence Baker; sisters, Sarah Kearley (Arthur) and Mary Baker; brothers, Freeman Baker and Thomas Baker (Florence).
The Baker family would like to express thanks to all her homecare workers, the doctors and nurses who helped their mom and showed her such love and kindness.
The Baker Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Grand Bank on Tuesday, September 6,,and Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm each day. Jessie’s Funeral Service will take place at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Grand Bank on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 11:00 am.
Interment to follow at Grand Bank United Church Cemetery.
In Jessie’s memory donations may be made to The Grand Bank United Church.
