Obituary for
John Serben
It is with great sadness we announce that John Serben parted from us on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the age of 71 years.
John will always be remembered by his son, Tim Serben of Smoky Lake; sisters, Paulette Semeniuk (George), Shirley Kolody (Ron), Ruby Serben (Gerald), and Pat Galas; as well as many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Steve and Jeannie Serben of Edmonton; and sister, Ruth of Smoky Lake.
John loved his adventures in life and fishing and camping were his passions. He was an avid collector of many unique items. John also loved reading about history and birds. He will be forever missed.
At John’s request, no formal service will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations in John’s name may be made to the Edmonton Humane Society.
