Coombes, Jean Carmel – Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Hospital on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, surrounded by her loving family, Carmel Coombes, age 98 years, wife of the late Captain Albert Coombes.
She will be greatly missed by sons; Shannon (Janet), Joe (Margie), Greg (Jeanette), Gerard (Brenda), Michael (Donna); daughters Donna, Janet , Andrea; grandchildren Julia, Laura, Thom, Adam, Colin, Vanessa, Albert, Brendan, Stephanie, Maddie, Nathan, Patrick, Jaidinh; great-grandchildren Riley, Lyla, Eliza, Alice, Emma, Kate, Brielle; special nieces Helen Farewell , Mary Osmond, Laura Hewitt, members of the Foley family in Montreal and Fredericton and many other relatives and friends.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd. Visitation on Friday, September 2, 2022, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of the World, Topsail Road. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
