POIRIER, Bryan William – Passed away at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the age of 69. Beloved husband and best friend of Lorraine Poirier (née Martel). Cherished father of Ryan Poirier (Crystal) and Michelle Poirier. Loving grandfather of Logan, Laralai and Selina. Dear brother of Robert Poirier (Denise Desnoyers), and Pauline Poirier (Chris Chisolm); and best brother-in-law of Charmaine Martel, and Paulette Martel (Mike Emmerich). Bryan leaves behind his 10 much-loved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest, on Wednesday, August 31st from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. with prayers at 8:45 p.m. Due to the ongoing construction on Hwy. 89 in Mount Forest, visit www.englandfuneralhome.com for instructions on how to enter the funeral home parking lot. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Purification Roman Catholic Church, 310 Parkside Drive, Mount Forest, on Thursday, September 1st at 11:30 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The Funeral Mass will be livestreamed and may be viewed by visiting: www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100057424542022. Following the interment, a Celebration of Bryan’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 296, 53 Elora Street South, Harriston. The family will share memories and refreshments will be served. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bryan are asked to consider the Cancer Assistance Program, Hamilton, or The Mark Preece Family House, Hamilton.
