It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, dad, and Papa Angus Dell Carr. He passed away peacefully Friday August 26, 2022, surrounded by his family at the High River Hospital after a courageous battle with many health issues.
Angus was born in Turner Valley August 15, 1942. He was able to enjoy his 80th birthday celebration with all his family. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Myrna, his 3 children Laura (Kim) Enders, Angela (Cyril) Kulba, Andrew (Coreena) Carr. Papa was loved by his eight grandchildren Nick (Meagen), Mitch (Courtney), Zack (Sydney), Taylor (Justin), Lindsay (Michael), Jessica, Brianna and Cameron. Papa’s 3 great grandchildren, Emmett, Waylon and Eli. His brother Ron (Terry) Carr.
Dad’s life was full, he enjoyed many family gatherings and special celebrations. He loved life at the cabin, his acreage, fishing, camping, travel, cattle penning and most of all his family. During the last few years he spent many hours looking over photos and watching videos of his great grandchildren.
Our gratitude goes out to the staff at the High River hospital Unit 300 for their care and compassion.
There will not be a Celebration of Life for Angus, as per his wishes. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Angus’s name to the High River Hospital, Unit 300.
Arrangements are in care of Snodgrass Funeral Homes, High River 403 -652-2222. To email condolences to the Carr family, please visit www.snodgrassfuneralhomes.com
