Rose Guindon (nee Krankowski) passed away on Saturday January 15, 2022 at the age of 102 years.
Rose was born in Lake Eliza, AB to Mike and Dorothy (nee Godzuik) Krankowski.
Rose is predeceased by her parents; husband, Maurice; 4 sisters; 2 brothers; one grandson and one great greatgrandson. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Raymond (Peggy), Diane (Martin), Jeannine (Gerry) and Lillian; along with 2 sisters; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 7 great great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
A Funeral Service will be held for Rose at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Thursday January 20, 2022 at 10:00 am. with visitation beginning at 9:30am. A reception will follow.
Please note: Attendees must provide a valid QR Code Proof of Vaccination and ID OR a negative COVID test result within the past 72 hours OR a medical exemption letter.
