Nancy Faye Scott Dockery – age 79 of Knoxville was born on November 21, 1942 and left this life on Thursday, August 25, 2022 to be with loved ones who had moved on before her. Nancy retired from the Knox County Sheriff’s office where she thoroughly enjoyed her career and those with whom she worked.
Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Juanita Scott; brother, John Scott; sisters, Elizabeth Wood and Mary Wood; husband, Jerry Dockery; sons, Robert Jenkins and Tony Jenkins. She was also preceded in death by first husband, David Jenkins, Sr. and second husband, Michael Newarski.
Survived by sons, David (Patty) Jenkins, Billy (Carrie) Jenkins; step-daughter, Tina (Brad) Johnson; brothers, Frank and Jimmy Scott; sisters, Louise Ellenburg, Brenda Manzur, and Marilyn Wooliver; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Bridges Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather 1:45 PM on Sunday at Asbury Cemetery for a 2:00 PM graveside service with Pastor Danny Neal officiating.
