Obituary
In loving memory of Kenneth Bert McBride who passed away on Tuesday, August 23 with his loving family by his side at the age of 72.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 49 years Donna, their son Brett (Brooke) Braelynn and Brayden, daughter Kara (Justin Browne) Bryson and Kenlee. Brother Blaine (Judy) and sister Murn (Goran Tomljanovic). Brothers-in-law Larry (Connie) Sander, Brian (Joyce) Sander, Glenn (Charlene) Sander, Dale (Holly) Sander and special sister-in-law Sheila Mitchell (Dwayne Procyshyn) as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends.
Ken was preceded by his parents, Bert and Muriel McBride, father and mother-in-law Ingatius (Ned) and Margaret Sander, nephew Shawn McBride, brother-in-law Ray Mitchell.
Ken gave back in so many ways to his community. He was a founding member of the Kindersley & District Health & Wellness Foundation in 1992 and served as chair for the last 20 years. It was Ken’s wish, and that of his family, that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Foundation in his memory.
Donations may be made by e-transfer (kdhwfoundation@gmail.com), cheque (KDHWF c/o Box 195 Kindersley, SK S0L 1S0) or at Prairie Rose and Floral in Kindersley.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 27 at 1:00 pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Kindersley.
