Norman, Hilda Irene (nee Parks) –
Of Milton and formerly of Collingwood, passed away at Allendale Long Term Care Home, Milton on Sunday August 21, 2022 in her 90th year. Irene beloved wife of 40 years to the late Daniel Norman. Loving mother of Diane Foley (Wilf), Stan Norman (Irene) and Dorothy Rock (Rick). Cherished grandmother of Sarah, Dawn, Justin, Stephen, Travis, Brett and Pam. Devoted great grandma of Adrianna, Tyson, Julian, Vanessa, Ben, Cooper, Cooper and Boston. Dear sister of Don Parks. Irene will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her caregivers. Predeceased by her parents Hilliard and Hazel (nee Wallace) Parks, sister Ruth Reekie (Harvey) and sister-in-law Marilyn Parks.
Irene worked for 26 years as a Registered Nursing Assistant at Shouldice Hospital. She was a kind and loving woman who cherished her family.
Family and Friends will be received at the Chatterson Funeral Home, 404 Hurontario Street, Collingwood on Thursday August 25, 2022 from 6p.m. to 8p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday August 26, 2022 at 11a.m. The ceremony will be live streamed for those unable to attend.
