Obituary of Helen Cybruch
Helen Marie Cybruch (Stromner) was escorted to her Heavenly resting place on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at the age of 81. She passed peacefully at the Tofield Lodge surrounded by the care and love of her family.
Born to Hugo and Martha Stromner, Helen was the middle of 5 children (predeceased by her parents and older sister MaryAnn Duff) and survived by Carl (Ola), Gary (Joan) Stromner and Doris (Gerry) Christie. Helen’s childhood years were lived out in Kingman Alberta.
Shortly after moving out on her own she met her husband John. Their lives together of 65 years brought the blessings of 5 children Monte (predeceased), Tracy Lees, Dana (Dave-predeceased) Leonard, Angie (James) Morrill and Rachel (Brad) Goulding and an adopted son Manole Cybruch (predeceased). Helen dearly loved her 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and she will be missed and fondly remembered by all.
Helen had a servants heart and was involved in many ministries over the years in her community as well as working as a care aide in nursing homes. She had joy in giving and a compassionate heart. She loved to host and always opened her heart and home to any one that needed a friend (animals included) and served up love in the form of apple pie and kringles. She was a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and truly left a legacy of love and faith behind.
Her last moments were spent listening to her daughter sing these words “All my life you have been faithful, and all my life you have been so so good, with every breath that I am able, Oh I will sing of the goodness of God.”
There will be a celebration of life to be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the North Millbourne Community League (980 Millbourne Rd North) . There will be an opportunity to share stories and memories of Helen at that time.
