It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Ilene Peddie (Mckerr) (McKinnon), on Saturday August 20th 2022 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Mckerr (1966) and Ken Peddie (1980). Loving mother to Sherry Lee (Robert) and Jim McKerr (Sheila). Adored grandmother to Kim Mitchell (Scott), Corrie Higgins (Patrick), Elliot McKerr (Aubrey) and Jenessa VanZandwyk (Chris). She will be missed by her great-grandchildren; Jamie & Justin Mitchell, Jessica & Kyle Henneberry, Arie & Piper VanZandwyk and Tristan & Sarah Higgins. Dear sister to the late Jean Hearns (Sonny), Archie McKinnon (Ruth) and John McKinnon. Survived by her sister-in-law Marilyn. Lovingly remembered by her supportive and caring nieces, nephews and their families. Thank-you to the nurses and Dr. Rhee for all their caring and support at Milton District Hospital, Seasons Retirement Home and to Dr. Ivan Hunter for always being there for mom. Family and friends are invited to visit at the McKERSIE-KOCHER FUNERAL HOME 114 Main St. E. Milton 905-878-4452 from 10:30am to 12:00pm on Wednesday August 24, 2022. Funeral service will commence in the funeral home chapel at 12pm. Reception to follow the service in the lounge. Interment to take place at the Milton Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Milton District Hospital Foundation or Townsend Smith Foundation.
