Obituary of Carol May MacMaster
It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol in her 84th year. She was predeceased by her husband Donald MacMaster(1998). Loving mother of David (Lisa) MacMaster and Karen (Ted) Konkle. Loving grandmother of Caitlin MacMaster (Eric), Calum MacMaster and Jessica Konkle (Steve). Predeceased by her brothers John Cleator and David Cleator. Loving sister to Joan Hadfield, Janet Hemsworth(Bob), and Darlene Parsons. Loving Sister-in-law to Myrna Cleator, Joanne Cleator, Gwen Watts, Billy MacMaster (Beryl) Beverly Grisch (Dave)and Melvin Parsons. Special cousin to Connie McKay (Ron).
Carol will be greatly missed by her many extended family and friends near and far. She was the Vice President of Friends of Linhaven and enjoyed her days volunteering at the home. The last few years Carol had many challenges and she faced them with both determination and grace. She loved her family so much. She will be missed by everyone.
Family to receive friends on Tuesday, August 23rd from 7-9pm, and Wednesday, August 24th from 11am-1pm at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 24th at 1pm. A private inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lincoln County Humane Society, and Friends of Linhaven would be appreciated by the family.
