Maxwell Robert Eugene 2022

Maxwell, Robert Eugene
ROBERT EUGENE MAXWELL
1934-2022
Eugene passed away at the Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday, August 16th, 2022
leaving behind his wife Diana, children Tammie and John,
grandchildren Jaimie, Kent, Tara, Lucian and great grandchildren Hailey, Christian, Paige and Ava.
As a young boy Gene helped with farm work. He worked in the canning factory in Wellington
with friends and they enjoyed evening tenting together. At age 18, Gene was injured in a car accident that resulted in a spinal injury.
He managed on crutches and worked in industry for twenty years. In later years he used a wheelchair
and for the past few years was a bed patient at home.
Even with all these problems, he enjoyed our cottage at Oak Lake while driving the boat for skiers and our friends.
He always thought positively despite his health problems. He will be sadly missed.
As per Gene’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service or visitation.
A private family interment service will take place at a later date.
Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
