Obituary of Aaron John Derbyshire
It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Aaron John Derbyshire on August 13, 2022, in Moncton, New Brunswick.
Aaron was born on February 14th, 1973, in Sarnia Ontario and raised on the family farm outside Melbourne, Ontario, where he attended Caradoc South Public School and graduated from Glencoe District High School.
Aaron is preceded by his grandparents, Frank and Meta Derbyshire, Ivan and Patricia Anderson, as well as his beloved nephew Quinn Derbyshire.
Aaron is survived by his parents, John and Jackie Derbyshire, his brothers Steve (Cindy), Brian (Laurie) and Kevin (Jessica) Derbyshire and his beautiful daughters Alexandra Whiteside (Alex), Hannah and Emmerson Derbyshire and their mother and Aaron’s lifelong friend Melissa Derbyshire, as well as his much-loved nieces and nephews, Clayton, Jack, Lane, Valley, Birdie, Sunny, Adear, Daniel and Lily Derbyshire.
Aaron was born with a spirit for adventure that stayed with him throughout his lifetime. As a long-haul truck driver, he saw millions of miles and many sunrises and sunsets on the road, with his homing instincts and grounding always being his family.
A celebration of Aaron’s life will be held on the family farm (at 7080 Century Drive, Melbourne, Ontario) on Sunday, August 28th, 2022 at 2:00pm, with a small service beginning at 3:00 pm. A light lunch will follow with tea and coffee.
All are welcome.
Please bring your own lawn chair and your fondest memories to gather in tribute of a life well lived.
Go rest high on that mountain Son, your work on Earth is done!

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Aaron
