It is with profound sadness that the family of Larry Hrabets announce his sudden passing on Sunday August 14, 2022.
Larry leaves a huge void in the hearts of his partner Bobbi (his Sweets), his daughters Stephanie (his Little Princess), Morgan (his Little Mermaid) and his beloved grandson Silas (his Super Silas). There was never a more devoted Daddio and Stachey.
Larry will be deeply missed by his sister Cynthia, his brother Timmy(Jane), his nieces Ashley, and Natasha (Tyler, and son Leo), and Chantal, mother to his daughters. Predeceased by his mother Olga (2007) and his father Gerald (2019). Larry was also blessed with many cousins across the country and considered the family farm in Leamington as his true home.
Larry lived his life with extraordinary passion and energy. A true and proud Ukrainian who celebrated every moment of this life to the absolute fullest. He seized each and every day, and inspires us to do the same. Charismatic, vibrant, larger than life, everyone that he met became a lifelong friend. He was a natural athlete, embracing skydiving, skiing, and golf. Over the course of his life, he became an instructor to both skydivers and skiers. He found great joy in introducing others to these sports and helping them improve their skills.
Larry loved with the same passion that he lived. We will deeply cherish the love that he so freely shared and the over-the-top fun that he brought to all our lives.
The family invites you to join us for the visitation and funeral. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 19th from 3:00-5:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm. The funeral will be held on Saturday, August 20th at 1:00 pm at Smith’s Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington. A reception will follow the service.
We appreciate all expressions of love and support. If desired, donations to the Ukrainian Red Cross Society can be made to honour his memory. Слава Україні Slava Ukraini
