Obituary for
Larry Roy
It is with great sadness that the family announces with great sorrow the passing of Larry at the Timmins and District Hospital on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at the age of 86 years. Predeceased by his first wife Aline Chartier (1988) and his second wife Aline Audette (2018). Loving Papa to Anne McAnsh-Déruisseau (Claude), Gerald “Gerry” Roy (Pam), Linda Roy (Larry Lebrun) and his stepson Brian Hussey (Sylvia Galeotalanza). Cherished Grandpa to Andrew (Amanda), Joshua (Nathalie), Shelby, Danielle, Jason, Katrina, Wyatt as well as his great grandchildren. Survived by his siblings, Rosaire Roy (Diane), Monique Roy, Jacqueline Roy (Rene Malette), Lorraine Charette (Mike) and his brother-in-law Mike Godmaire. Predeceased by his parents Arthur Roy & Angeline (nee Fortier), his brothers Guy, Raoul, Florent and his sister Murielle.
As per his wishes, Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place at a later date. In his memory, memorial donations to the Timmins and District Hospital – Hospice would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home, Reception and Cremation Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins, ON.
