Leonard Douglas Coldin 2022

Obituary of Leonard Douglas Coldin
Peacefully, surrounded by family Len passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at home on the “Back 40”, in his 92nd year. Leonard Coldin, beloved husband of Barbara (nee Tustin). Loving father of Andrea Fedrigoni (Albert), Brian Coldin (Leslie) and Honor Wood (Paul). Loved grandfather Matthew (Alana), Adam (Megan), Nick, Erin, Andrew, Devin, Logan, PJ and Zachary and soon to be great grandfather. Len will be missed by his daughter-in- law Janice Cormack, extended family, close neighbours and many friends.
Len was a man that woke up each and every morning ready to embrace life with a positive outlook. He had a wonderful sense of humor which resulted in numerous nick names including “The Baron of Ballantrae”, “The Great Coldini otherwise known as Coldini the Great” and most commonly “Uncle Len” to almost everyone he met. He was a huge fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and had a great sense of humor with his personal assistant Alexis who he fondly called Ovetka…and sometimes she even answered to that!
Private arrangements have been entrusted to the Wagg Funeral Home, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario. Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.waggfuneralhome.com
