1957-2022
Cindy S. Calhoun of Hawkshaw, NB, wife of the late Beverly E. Calhoun,
passed away August 10, 2022 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital.
Cindy was born at Fredericton, NB on May 18, 1957, a daughter of the
late John G. and Phyllis E. (MacLean) Grass. She was employed for
more than twenty years at Jolly Farmer. Cindy was a good cook and
often shared her cooking with family and friends. She enjoyed time
spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, at her cottage at
Lake George.
She is survived by her son Benji Calhoun (Lesley), Woodstock, NB; her
grandchildren, Jessica, Jack, Sadie and Karlie; her sisters, Joanna
Corning (Jim) and Kathy Sprott (Claude), both of Lake George, NB;
sisters-in-law, Beth Grass and Laura Saunders; a brother-in-law, Blair
Calhoun and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, Cindy was predeceased by a
brother, Larry Grass, sisters-in-law Juanita Haines (late Frederick)
and Marlene Calhoun and a brother-in-law, Lyle Saunders.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis
Drive, Nackawic, NB on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on
Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Alice Finnamore officiating.
Interment will follow at the Magundy Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Scott Sprott, Marty Sprott, Seth Grass, John
Cliff, Steven Cliff and Adrian Wright.
