Jean Stoodley 1935 2021

Obituary of Jean Stoodley
Passed peacefully away at Faith Manor, Holland Christian Homes in Brampton, Ontario on December 18, 2021, Jean Stoodley, age 86 years.
Predeceased by her husbands Percy Hoyles and Maxwell Stoodley, parents Cyneth and Victor Norman, stepdaughter Margaret, and son in law Joe.
Leaving to mourn, with many loving memories, are her daughters, Beverley (Pat) and Marilyn, Stepchildren Edward (Loretta), Shirley (Fred) and Louise, sister Bernice (Alan) and brother Chesley (Patricia), son in law Brian, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and a large circle of family and friends.
Although left at a very young age to raise two children alone, Jean excelled at being both mom and dad. She was kind and loving in everything she did for her girls. Jean was a quiet, private person, a wonderful teacher and friend, and spent countless hours involved with different organizations over the years, including her church which was a big part of her life.
Sadly, her time living at Faith Manor was short. She became ill only weeks after moving in. We would like to say a big thank you to the staff there who took such good care of her. We will also be forever grateful to the many caregivers who came to her home to care for her over the past 5 years.
Visitation will take place at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Tuesday, August 17, 2022
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the Grace United Church on Wednesday August 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
Interment to take place at the Grace United Cemetery, Dunville
Should you wish to honour Jean, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Jean
