Linda Gail Rice passed away after a 2 and a half year illness Tuesday August 2, 2022. She survived a terminal diagnosis for so long, massively exceeding Doctors’ expectations, in large part because of the loving support of her friends, family. and caregivers.
Linda, an avid scuba diver and traveler, had a long and successful life with jobs at Pitftield McKay, Ronald McDonald’s Children’s Charities and Starfield Consulting. She was also the president of the North Toronto Business Professional Women’s group and later the entire BPW Ontario chapter, advocating on a vast array of women’s issues
Linda’s friends are invited to join her siblings, Cheryl, Michael (Hilary) and Heather(Jim) at a Celebration of Linda’s Life, Thursday August 11, at 1:30pm at the old BPW meeting place, the Latvian Centre, 4 Credit Union Drive, North York.
In lieu of flowers donations to one of Linda’s causes can be made to Courage For Freedom (courageforfreedom.org), in support of victims of human trafficking, or to your local women’s shelter.
