Shediac, NB – Bernard Boudreau, 73, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.
Before moving to Shediac, Bernard lived in Richibucto where he was an active member of the community. Bernard was a Captain Volunteer Firefighter in Richibucto for over 20 years. Past member of Richibucto Lions Club and “Club d’Âge d’Or de Grande-Digue”.
Born in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Paul and the late Maclina Boudreau (Arseneau).
Bernard will be sadly missed by his loving wife: Jeanne Boudreau (Mourant); his three sons: Jean Claude (Rachel) of Grand-Barachois, Gilles of Halifax and Julien (Nadine) of Shediac; his three brothers: Jean (Annette) of Ottawa, Yvon (Jeanette) of Bouctouche and Paul Émile (Patsy) of Aldouane; two sisters: Jeanette LeBlanc (Paul) of Bouctouche and Rosa Richard (Robert) of Moncton; his three grandchildren: Josée (Patrick), Morgan and Sophie; also by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister: Anne-Marie and his sister-in-law: Maureen.
Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel (3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB 506.532.1050), on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 9am until time of Celebration of Life at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a charity of your choice.
