RAMEY – Ronald E., 72, of Greenfield, Queens County, passed away peacefully in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater on Saturday, July 30, 2022.
Born in Liverpool, Ronnie was a son of the late Gordon D. and Ivy M. (Fraser) Ramey.
Ronnie worked for Michelin Tire for 32 years in quality control, retiring when he was 54. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as working his firewood lot in his yard. He loved spending time with his family.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathryn (Smith); his sons Trevor (Lisa) of South Brookfield and Nickolas of Greenfield. His grandchildren Kelsey (Josh) Conrad, Shelby Freeman (Brent Baker), Kayla Freeman (Robbie Grandy) and his great grandchildren Addyline and Madison Baker. His sister Esther Ward of Newcombville.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Pine Rest Cemetery, Greenfield. Reverend Janet Baker officiating.
