Allan Lloyd Joseph
On Tuesday, July 19, 2022, Allan Lloyd Joseph of Fort Saskatchewan, AB passed away at the age of 61 years.
Allan was born and raised in Edmonton and attended Lethbridge Community College, enrolled in Policing. After school, Allan returned to Edmonton and started a career with Edmonton Transit for 20 years then transitioned to the City of Edmonton Fire Department as a 911 dispatcher. In 2004, he moved to Chipman, AB with his family and started Belly Acres Ranch. In 2010, he transferred to the Fire Prevention department, where he retired in 2016.
Allan’s pride and joy were his children, Sydney and Rebecca. He was always volunteering for their extracurricular activities and working to make sure they were taken care of. Allan was an avid believer in community, volunteering his free time as apart of the Lamont Fire Department and the Lamont Agricultural Society. He also enjoyed spending time with his cattle and other animals at the ranch.
Allan is survived by his daughter, Rebecca; and son-in-law, Cody; brothers, Randy (Beverly) Joseph and Keith (Carla) Joseph; as well as his nephew, Steven (Lindsay) Joseph; and nieces, Christine (Jason) Ober and Courtney Joseph.
Allan was predeceased by his son, Sydney (2009); parents, Edith (2005) and Sydney “Herb” (2017).
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 14, 2022, at 1 p.m. at the Lamont Recreation Centre, 4848 – 49 Street, Lamont.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lamont & District Agricultural Society, Box 943, Lamont, AB T0B 2R0 or Friends of Lamont Fire Department, Box 208, Lamont, AB T0B 2R0.
