Shane Cameron Swanson
January 30th, 2008 – July 19th , 2022
It is with profound sadness that we, the family, announce the tragic passing of our beloved son, grandson, great-grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, Shane Cameron Swanson On Tuesday, July 19th, 2022 at the age of 14 Shane was born on January 30th, 2008 to Ione Swanson and Gil Swanson at Regina, Sk. He was pre-deceased by his maternal great-grandfather Mervin Bigknife, special great uncles; Elden and Bucky Bigknife, great-aunt; Cindy Bigknife. Paternal grandparents; George and Brenda Sawanson, uncles: Shane and Shawn Swanson Shane leaves to cherish his memory; his mother Ione, father Gil, his loving kokum that raised him; Cheryl Lafrance (Gerry), mushom Larry Lafrance, great-kokum; Hilda Bigknife. Brothers; Seth, Darian. Sisters; Desarae and Shanice. Aunt; Crystal Swanson. Uncles; Ira Lafrance and Issac Lafrance. Shane was a wonderfully kind, loving, caring and thoughtful young man. He could always be counted on to help out whenever and wherever he could…especially when it came to his family. His incredible smile and gentle strength will be dearly missed. A Wake will be held on Monday, July 25, 2022, at the White Calf Gym in Lebret at 4:00 pm. Funeral Service will be the following morning, Tuesday, July 26, in the same location (White Calf Gym, Lebret) at 11:00 am. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Conley Funeral Home, Fort Qu’Appelle, Sk.
