Dieppe, NB. – Yvette Bennett passed away peacefully at her residence in Dieppe on July 18th, 2022, at the age of 85.
Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Walter G. McGinn and the late Margaret LeBlanc-Dugas.
Beloved by many, Yvette will be greatly missed by her daughter, Margaret Susan “Peggy” (Ron) West of Massachusetts; her two stepdaughters: Rita (Jim) Chase of Moncton and Anne (Louis) Amico of Massachusetts; her two brothers: Terry Dugas and Guerry Dugas, both of Moncton ; her three sisters: Shirley Caissie of Lakeburn, Pauline Dietrich of Ontario, and Linda (Allison) Rogers of Cocagne ; her two grandchildren: Sarah Grace and Benjamin Joseph ; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Blair Babineau ; as well as her second husband, Leon A. Bennett; her brother, Paul; and her two stepsons: James and David.
The family would like to thank the Extra Mural staff as well as the nurses of the Moncton Hospital for the exceptional care they have provided.
Visitation will take place on Monday, July 25th, 2022 at Passage – Chartersville (363
Amirault Street, Dieppe) from 10:00am until the time of the funeral service the chapel at noon.
Donations in Yvette’s memory can be made to the Moncton Hospital or to Extra Mural through the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC Foundation.
