Janice Catherine Knockwood 1951 2022

Janice Catherine
Knockwood
1951 –
2022
It is with great sadness we are announcing the
passing of Janice Catherine Knockwood. Mother, wife, sister, daughter.
She passed away overnight on the evening of January 13th, January 14th
2022 at home with her loving daughter. Beloved wife to late Henry
Gordon Knockwood. She is survived by her 3 children, Curtis, Quintina,
Selinah and her brother, Rodney Hiltz and her sister, Diane Hiltz.
Predeceased by her father Ellis Hiltz, and mother Florence
Hiltz.
She was a member of the
Embree Island United Baptist Church, she was kind, caring, and helped
her community at every opportunity. She achieved an arts scholarship
to an artistic school and was an amazing artist. She worked with her
creativity there until having her first child Curtis. Janice has
worked diligently as an activist for many
years.
Janice loved her
children more then anything. She had taken up many different roles
during her time with us, she has remodeled every house she’s
lived in and turned them into Homes. Janice loved to bike and was an
avid cyclist. She was Doctor Mom. Janice was the most beautiful person
in the world, and One Of A Kind. She didn’t earn much
Official recognition, but also didn’t ask for
any.
Visitation will be held
