He is predeceased by his eldest son, Leo; granddaughter, Sierra; sisters, Corrie and Beth; and brothers-in-law Barry, Malcolm, and Henry; sister-in-law, Carol; and infant brother, Gerard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was an honourable, strong, loving man, who set a great example for his family to follow.
A man who worked hard and always had time to listen and share a story and had many good friends.
Leonard was a long-time member of St. Mary’s Parish in Chesterville and the Knights of Columbus. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten in our memories and in our hearts.

Glorious Patriarch Saint Joseph, whose power makes the impossible possible, come to my aid in these times of anguish and difficulty. Take under your protection the serious and troubling situations that I commend to you, that they may have a happy outcome. My beloved father, all my trust is in you. Let it not be said that I invoked you in vain, and since you can do everything with Jesus and Mary, show me that your goodness is as great as your power. Amen.
