PIGOZZO, Lino Giordano –
Lino Pigozzo passed away from a heart attack on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at the age of 64.
Lino is survived by his loving spouse Theresa; his children Joseph (Elizabeth), Mathew, Jonathan (Laura), Paul (Melissa), Nicholas Mitchell (Shannon), Mary Aasman (Jesse) and Daniel; his grandchildren Annabelle, Madison, Abigail, Kevin, Sarah, Erik, and Isabel; his siblings Bruna Kitts, Quince (Anne) and Dino (Linda); and sister-in-law Mary. He is predeceased by his brother Bruno; brother-in-law William Kitts; and parents Aquilino and Annie Pigozzo (Finamore).
Many will remember Lino as the owner of the Countryside Family Restaurant in Fergus, and more recently in service to the Wellington Catholic District School Board as Custodial Coordinator.
Visitations will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son – Dublin Chapel (252 Dublin St. N. Guelph). Visitation times 1:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm (with prayers at 6:45pm).
Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Guelph at Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate at 10:00am on Saturday, July 23, 2022. Interment to follow at Marymount Cemetery.
Donations to St. Mary’s Hospital Kitchener or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family
